Why does Windows Longhorn Build when there is an evaluation copy and still use the bad and weak Windows XP features? Feel like unable to upgrade Windows Longhorn, black screen, blue BSOD before pre-reset, August, 2004 Very Old *while watching @NTDEV YouTube video* Upgrade every Windows build.

Every Windows build upgrade from XP to Longhorn Build is designed to use Windows XP features. Why?  Why?  Currently being developed to be more modern.  New features are clearly expected to be designed in this way.  It's not finished yet.  Haven't had any results yet.

Windows Longhorn was launched from 2002-2004 (development ended in August). Windows XP returned for new development, which will keep the original Windows Longhorn Codename

Windows XP was released in 2001 as an enhancement to Windows Whistler, Windows 2000.

The design of Windows 2000 remains the same as Windows 95 and 98.

After the Windows development reset in August: The Windows XP operating system was restored. Windows Longhorn was restored to develop for Windows Vista (named).

Also included: A page designed to install or upgrade Windows with options called Windows Setup installation software.

Longhorn Pre-Reset Build after skipping from the 4083 - 5001 Windows XP to Windows Vista (named):

Added a bottom progress bar with time in the bottom right hand side while installing Windows. It takes time to complete.  Or the number from 0 to 100% is still weak. We have finished developing Windows Longhorn. Let's test it to see how it is.  If it doesn't work out, Pre-Reset Longhorn Build will switch to Windows Vista (named) in August 2004. (Post-Reset Longhorn Codename Build)

Windows Vista has now reached 100% installed status before the computer restarts.

Therefore, we are not sure that Windows Longhorn has been used on the old computer that was installed with Windows XP for a long time, so we do not want to upgrade it.  Had to switch to a newer, more modern PC to run Windows Longhorn, Vista with better specs: Intel Pentium D CPU, 2GB RAM.

Old computer with Intel Pentium D CPU, 2GB RAM: Can it run Windows 11?  How do I upgrade the RAM up to 8GB for an old computer?

⚠️ Can't run Windows 11 on my old computer because we don't meet the minimum requirements of 8+ RAM, 3Ghz CPU+. 2+ cores or more

But... Windows 11 24H2: requires 64GB of RAM, 8 CPU cores or more, the most powerful.  For modern new 2024 computers

⚠️ Remaining RAM cannot be 8GB for old computers.  May cause the PC's RAM to become incompatible.

It does not support this computer to upgrade the factory RAM.  That is a wrong thing to do.

That is, the Windows Longhorn upgrade is finished. I restarted my PC and got a black screen and blue BSOD while the upgrade didn't complete.  What do I have to do?  Must have installed Windows via DVD/USB and be ready to recover inaccessible files + programs.

File recovery can be done through Windows PE. Plug the USB drive into a DVD instead. How do I get a bootable image from the USB drive?

Things you can do to create a bootable USB drive image include:

• Ventoy is a multi-image bootable USB drive. Visit the site: ventoy.net.

• Rufus is a single Windows boot from USB drive (recommended). Visit site: rufus.ie

Download image file for Windows PE recovery by following website: https://majorgeeks.com/files/details/sergei_strelecs_winpe.html

But now I can't find the ISO image file on the file website: "Boot_USB_Sergei_Strelec_2014_v.6.6_Eng.iso".  So I want to boot to easily recover files.

That's it, fix the problem of upgrading Windows Longhorn. Before restarting the PC, a black screen and a blue BSOD will appear *Windows won't boot* after the upgrade is complete.  It's finished.
