Can Excel 2007 really run??? Yes, it is in Windows 11 itself, but I don't have Windows 7 installed.



I have checked the operating system or about Windows 11. But can't run Excel, the program error appears. What should I do?

Do the following:

1. Download your VM to Windows 10/11 to install or continue running Windows 7 on the VM.

2. Set up the VM to run Windows 7 including:

• 2GB RAM: We do not recommend using more RAM.

• 128GB storage

• CPU 2 cores or more, 2Ghz or higher. (Recommended)

3. Once Windows 7 VM is installed, do the following:

• Copy your files/extract your files named DLC Boot to Windows 7. If you don't have internet, install VM drivers and then download a browser to download the zip file from this page. (If not)

• Once the zip file is extracted, find the program to run as administrator in the folder navigation.

• On the DLC Boot program page that opens, navigate to the button labeled Office > Excel 2007 to run the portable program.

4. How to install Excel from Office 2007? Here's how:

• Open Windows Explorer, navigate to the file in the text box as %temp%. Then, press Enter to navigate to your folder.

• Navigate to the folder named DLC1 Temp > Office 2007. To copy the files and folders, right-click the folder named Office 2007 > Copy.

• After copying, paste the files and folders into the C:\ disk. Navigate, then right click > Paste. That's it, if possible.

5. How to create a shortcut for Excel program? Here's how:

• Remove the old shortcut on the desktop. Create a new shortcut by right-clicking the program file > Send to Desktop > Create Shortcut. That's it. To make Excel run more smoothly.

6. You can test/run Excel 2007 on Windows 7, but will there be an error? If possible?

• Yes, Excel 2007 only supports Windows 7. To make Excel 2007 run on Windows 11.

• No, if there is an error or if the program version is not supported due to any fake. Try, reinstall Windows 7.
